The Thunder Furies were the largest mass-produced ground units of the Split Mountain Era. They have been used in many attacks, most commonly only one at a time, usually leading a squad of Sentries or Fire Vultures, or both. (Though they have been used en masse, like during the Striking Venom Attack). They are piloted by a single Devastator Robot.

History

First Use

ThunderBlast

A Thunder Fury fires its Ion Cannon

The Thunder Fury was first used in an attack on a small gate on the bridge below the Tenchi Bridge, where it battled and was defeated by the Grand Titan (and the Stealth Hunter).

Later Use

Several Thunder Furies were included in the Striking Venom Attack, one of which was destroyed by the Supernova. After that the Thunder Furies stopped being produced and were replaced by the newer and more effective Shadow Crawlers.

Information

Before being mass-produced, the original Thunder Furies were based off of an old Mining Vehicle design. They had a sturdy body design and were used as the basis for more models then any other battle machine base, including the Claw Crusher and Venom I. At one point its parts were combined with a Fire Vulture to create the Raging Storm.
